Rendezvous, re-opened in January of 2008, has lead the midcentury modernism revival in a bold and colorful style. Featuring period furniture by Eames, Bertola, Miller, and others, all rooms and suites open onto the 1950's-style blue Astroturf sundeck with sparkling heated pool, spa, palm trees , and spectacular view of Mount San Jancinto. In the 1950s, this was a haven for stars like Marilyn Monroe and Gloria Swanson. Remodeled into an upscale Bed and Breakfast in 2007, Rendezvous is now a lively and lovely retreat for today's L.A. set. You too can stay in the Pretty in Pink Suite that was Marilyn's hideaway from the paparazzi decades ago. The new look includes 1950s-themed rooms such as Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll, Rebel Without a Cause, Cowboys of the 50s, Crooners, and Detroit Iron, each decorated with fun, nostalgic memorabilia of that era. Rendezvous offers present-day comforts such as flat-screen TVs, DVD Players, silent A/C and heaters, high-speed wireless Internet, refrigerators, and microwaves in each room. Several rooms include comfortable private lounge areas, as well as two-person whirlpool tubs. Couples can relax with a couples massage in the newly refurbished massage studio. Enjoy appetizers and our signature drinks every afternoon poolside. Wake up to a healthy gourmet breakfast each morning, including specialty coffees and delicious fruit smoothies. Ride our cruiser bikes into uptown or downtown Palm Springs for fabulous restaurants, bars, galleries, vintage furniture stores, and unique boutique shops.
